ES SEries New Advanced design with superior technology Topcon's ES Series completely redefines construction grade total stations by introducing a number of new, exciting and revolutionary features, all combined in a small lightweight package, designed to help enhance your worksite experience. With a refined EDM unit, the ES now has a 25% extended reflectorless range of up to 500m and can also measure to standard prisms at a range of 4,000m. Measurement time has been reduced, with fine measurements now taking less than 1 second. The ES also sees the introduction of our all new TSshield. This industry-first sees the implementation our telematics experience at total station level. This system allows not only for remote system maintenance, but also increases security by allowing for stolen instruments to be locked down via a remote code from our TSshield servers. Our LongLink technology features on the ES series instruments. This long range Bluetooth communications system caters for a 300m wireless range on site between the instrument and field controller... ensuring that full control of a survey is where it should be - at the prism pole!

The IS-3 series has enhanced features, including an industry-leading prism lock and tracking function. Topcon's new X-TRAC 8 technology guarantees fast and accurate tracking, providing true single-person survey capabilities with imaging capabilities. The IS series provides super-long range reflectorless EDM, up to 6,500 feet (2,000m), the longest in the industry. In addition, the unit's non-prism accuracy has been enhanced from 5mm to 3mm at 1.5m – 250m. Other enhancements included the reduction of the time for non-prism 1000m class measurement, and increased ability to measure rough and dark surfaces.
